Abstract

Students at Digital Technology University exhibit a strong interest in entrepreneurship. However, this interest has not been fully realized in practice, indicating a gap in entrepreneurial readiness. Two key factors that influence this readiness are financial literacy and entrepreneurial knowledge. Financial literacy enhances students’ ability to manage financial resources effectively, while entrepreneurial knowledge provides the strategic insight needed to plan and run a business. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and entrepreneurial knowledge on students’ entrepreneurial interest. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, involving 112 student respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that both financial literacy and entrepreneurial knowledge have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest. The regression coefficient for financial literacy is 0.556, and for entrepreneurial knowledge, it is 0.440, both with significance values below 0.05. These findings indicate that the higher the financial literacy and entrepreneurial knowledge possessed by students, the greater their entrepreneurial interest. This research is expected to serve as a reference for evaluating and developing entrepreneurship programs within higher education institutions.
