Analisis Penerapan Motivasi Dan Kualitas Kerja Pada Kinerja Karyawan Di Bank Bmt Barrah Cabang Cijerah
Abstract
ABSTRACT
"The BMT Barrah Bank Cijerah Branch faces internal challenges in improving employee performance, particularly related to motivation and work quality. Some employees show a decline in morale triggered by work pressure, unbalanced workload, and lack of continuous training and development. The work environment that has not fully supported and the organizational culture that still needs to be strengthened further exacerbate the situation. This phenomenon is important to research given the intense competition among Islamic microfinance institutions that demands continuous improvement in service quality.
This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data is collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Informants consist of one manager and several employees selected purposively. The analysis process is done by examining the data from interviews, examining patterns of findings, and constructing interpretations based on the theoretical framework of motivation and work quality relevant.
The results show that work motivation at BMT Barrah is applied through moral and technical approaches, such as creating a comfortable work atmosphere, giving appreciation, and setting clear targets. Work quality is reflected in accuracy, neatness, adherence to procedures, and consistency in carrying out tasks. Employees who have high motivation and good work quality generally show more optimal performance. These findings confirm that the balance between motivation and work quality development is a key factor in improving performance sustainably in the Islamic banking environment."
